Adult Autism Hounslow
What is Autism? Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to other people and the world around them. It is a spectrum condition, which means that, while all people with autism share certain areas of difficulty, their condition will affect them in different ways. Ambition of the Group We hope to grow our small group into a borough-wide community. We want to reach out and connect with other groups, professionals, employers, services and the public to raise awareness and acceptance of autism and work towards a better 'tomorrow'. The Group meets the First Thursday of the month at 5.30pm. Meetings last an hour. We meet at Cann Mezzanine, Top Floor of the Treaty Centre, High Street Hounslow. There's free parking after 5pm on Thursdays and we provide light refreshments.
